Using employee surveys as a strategic management tool for business success

Speaker: Meredith Wells Lepley, PhD

Employee surveys are an important listening tool that top-performing companies are using as their competitive advantage. Dr. Meredith Wells Lepley of Workplace Surveys & Solutions, LLC and survey research faculty at the University of Southern California will share with you the surprising variety of important topics and business challenges that surveys can begin to solve. Participants will learn the benefits of surveys over other methods, discover generational differences in survey preferences, understand the difference between census surveys and pulse surveys—and when to use each, and how to determine whether a survey is best conducted in-house vs. by an outside consultant. Participants will walk away with techniques to obtain a good response rate, tips for asking good questions, and guidelines to disseminate survey results to maximize impact and forward movement.
