Our March 2020 Community Outreach Partner is the
National Alliance on Mental Illness of Lexington, KY
National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI Lexington was founded in 1985. NAMI Lexington is celebrating its 34th Anniversary in 2019! We provide a variety of services to the community. We are a unique community resource. We offer support, education, and advocacy for persons and their family members or providers, affected by mental illnesses. NAMI WALKS is our largest advocacy event.
NAMI Lexington offers a course entitled Family to Family. This is a free 8 week course for family and friends of individuals with serious mental illness. It is taught by trained NAMI Family Members. This program has been life changing for those who have taken it. Persons interested in taking a class can contact Tracy Jacobson at 859–272-7891 or email@example.com for further information.

Central Kentucky Job Club
The purpose of the Job Club is to provide a positive environment for motivated job seekers to meet, connect, share and learn. The free group is open to the public and meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, from 9:00–10:15 a.m. at the Fayette County Cooperative Extension office, 1140 Harry Sykes Way (formerly Red Mile Place), Lexington, KY. The University of Kentucky (UK) Alumni Association, Fayette County Cooperative Extension Services, and UK Human Resources Staff Career Development collaborate to bring this service to the community. The Central Kentucky Job Club (www.ukalumni.net/jobclub) is free and open to the public.
