Good afternoon.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to those affected by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and to you and your families during this unsettling time.

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to develop, the BGSHRM Board of Directors is focused on safety and is standing by to support you. We are following suggested precautionary measures to prevent possible exposure and spread of the virus. Our top priority is the health and safety of our BGSHRM members and guests.

Based on the recommendation of the CDC and State Governor to limit organized events and due to the ever-changing situation regarding COVID-19, the Board of Directors have decided to cancel all in-person BGSHRM meetings scheduled for April 2020.  However, we understand the importance of ongoing professional development on important and relevant topics, even during these times. Therefore, our Board has worked hard to provide you with an alternative.

• The April 14^th Meeting on Cyber-Security has been changed to a webinar format. To register for this webinar, please click here. If you registered for the in-person meeting, you do not need to do anything. If you paid to attend the in-person meeting, we will provide a partial refund for the cost of the registration. If you have any questions regarding payment, please contact treasurer@bgshrm.org.
  
  
• The April 22^nd Breakfast Meeting on the Opioid Response Program for Businesses workshop/training, in conjunction with The Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center, has been postponed until further notice. We will notify you when we have a rescheduled date. If you had already registered and paid to attend the meeting, we will provide a full refund for the cost of the registration. We intend to make a determination on the format of the May Chapter Meeting mid-April. Once a final decision has been made, we will send an update to the chapter. BGSHRM will continue to monitor the social distancing recommendations and consider the best interest of the health, safety, and well-being of our members, guests, as well as surrounding community.
