Our chapter received this honor thanks to our members and board! Every gift that SHRM Foundation received, including donations from our chapter and members, will be used to deliver 300+ scholarships in 2018 and continue their work to engage and integrate military veterans in the workplace. Additionally, our contributions supported the launch of Innovation Grants, their newest funding opportunity that supports SHRM state councils and chapters working to improve their communities and build inclusive organizations.

Thank you all for your help in supporting the SHRM Foundation and for making a difference in the lives of HR professionals!

The IRS announced in a revenue ruling that it will let taxpayers stick with the original $6,900 contribution limit for family coverage.

Quoted from SHRM Article: For HSA participants who had contributed the full $6,900 for the year and then withdrew $50 with earnings, "now you can put it back into the HSA if the HSA custodian accepts it," Sit explained. "If you decide to keep the $50 with earnings, you can go by the $6,850 limit and treat it as a normal withdrawal of excess contribution."
