New Year's resolutions abound: I want to change jobs. I want a promotion. I want to volunteer more. I want to work less than 60 hours per week. I want chocolate and wine to create a caloric deficit. But how quickly do we let our resolutions fall to the wayside in the whirlwind of life?

So, let's stop talking about resolutions and start talking about commitment.

Are you are committed to investing in yourself, growing your career, and/or making a bigger impact in your organization or in your community? I use the word "investment" because that's exactly what this is. Time. Money, Attention. Capacity. We all have multiple, competing priorities...but perhaps 2024 is the year that you have decided to prioritize YOU.

So, let's stop talking about "one day," and make that day TODAY.

Join 2024 BGSHRM President, Rebecca Wren, MS-SHRMA, SHRM-CP, and 2021 Meisinger Foundation Award ($20,000) for a detailed conversation about how to navigate the application process, understand eligibility requirements, and get tips on what the SHRM Foundation selection committee is looking for in those essay questions.

100% of the registration fees will be donated to the SHRM Foundation in an effort to support the Foundation's ongoing commitment to emerging and established HR professionals, both far flung...and in our own backyards.

Practicing HR requires specialized training and lots of support. That’s why each year the SHRM Foundation provides more than $500,000 in financial assistance to individuals preparing for their first job in HR or studying to fast-track their existing career in human resources.

Some scholarships are available exclusively with SHRM membership. Others are open to any HR Professional, student, or faculty member. All are excellent ways to access the resources you need to continue your academic pursuits and become a future HR leader in the world of work.
