LESLIE JARVIS, MBA, SHRM-CP
Leslie recently left her role as the Chief Human Resources Director with a Kentucky-based conglomerate to start her own management training and consulting firm. In her most recent role, she was responsible for managing the HR and Payroll department for a group of companies which employed more than 2,100 employees specializing in the areas of banking, insurance, long term care, broadcasting, retail, and IT services.
Leslie holds a BS in Human Relations and Secondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and has over 25 years of Human Resources experience in both the public and private sectors, the last 10 plus years spent at the senior leadership or executive level. She started her HR career as an HR Analyst in the Training & Development sector and progressed throughout her career to Chief Human Resources Director.
In addition, Leslie is an adjunct instructor with Bluegrass Community and Technical College, teaching the SHRM Learning Course for the last 3 years. She also serves on the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s Merit Council and the United Way of the Bluegrass HR Committee.
On a personal note, Leslie has one son and has considered Lexington home for over 30 years.
