ina Navis is the Assistant Dean for Finance in the College of Communication and Information at the University of Kentucky. She has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial management across higher education and the private sector. Prior to joining CI in 2019, she held key roles at UK in Research Financial Services, the College of Arts & Sciences, and the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and previously worked for PNC Bank, Host Communications, Procter & Gamble, and Lexmark International.

Tina is a native Lexingtonian, currently residing in Jessamine County and holds a B.B.A. in Decision Science and Information Systems and an M.S. in Strategic Human Resources Management and Analytics from the University of Kentucky. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Financial Management. Her professional strengths include compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic planning, with long‑term goals that include consulting in both public and private sectors. Tina enjoys most traveling and spending time with family and her three dachshunds.
