BEVERLY CLEMONS PROGRAMS DIRECTOR
Beverly has more than 25 years’ experience in Human Resources Consulting specializing in talent acquisition and development/recruiting, engagement and retention strategies, job analysis and job descriptions, performance feedback and coaching, organizational development strategies, workforce and leadership development, employee handbooks and policy development, human resource audits, behavioral assessments, outplacement and career transition services, and providing general human resource consulting and compliance to small companies by serving as their HR department. She has worked with clients in various industries including manufacturing, non-profit, financial and banking institutions, pharmaceutical and health-care providers, IT, coal, hospitality, marketing and advertising firms, retail, and many other clients, both large and small. Currently Beverly is serving on the Board of the Bluegrass chapter of the Society for Human Resource Managers (BG-SHRM) as the Director of Programs, and has served on the Board in several roles including Secretary, and Chair of Diversity and Community Outreach and is a current member of the Japanese - American Society of Kentucky (JASK); a current member of the Professional Women’s Forum (PWF) where she formerly served in various roles including the Chair of the Programs Committee, Secretary, President, a current member of the Lexington Forum, and a current member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) where she served as President, Chair of the Membership Committee, Chair of the Programs Committee, and Chair of Corporate Partners, was a Fund Distribution Team Member for United Way and Lexington Partners for Youth in addition to serving as a former committee member for the Kentucky Chamber Small Business Policy Council and the Kentucky Workforce Innovation Board – Best Practices and Solutions Committee. Beverly is also an active member of a number of professional organization and civic groups including Commerce Lexington (currently serving as a Steering Committee Member of the Business Owners Advisory Board Group (BOAB), past Chair of the Education and Professional Development Committee, and past-Chair of the Ambassador Committee, Awarded Volunteer of the Year 2001). In addition, Beverly is involved with a number of charitable causes and formerly served on the Entrepreneurial Committee for the Governor’s Task Force on the Economic Development of Women in the state of Kentucky, and the Business Advisory Board for Midway College. Beverly attended college at Sue Bennett College and the University of Kentucky. |
