TAMMY PEYTON

COLLEGE RELATIONS DIRECTOR


Tammy Peyton is a Kentucky native from Rockcastle County, Kentucky. She received a degree in Child and Family Studies from Berea College. She has over 15 years Human Resources, and Environmental Health and Safety Experience in a variety of industries. She is currently the Benefits & Communications specialist for US & Canadian Benefits at Novelis since 2021. Novelis is a producer of flat-rolled aluminum products and the world’s largest recycler of aluminum. Prior to her current position with the corporate team, she served at the Novelis Berea facility as the EHS Assistant & Novelis Neighbor Coordinator. In 2018 she became a state registered Cert

ified Nursing Assistant. In addition to her service in human resources for the company, she engages in community outreach for Novelis throughout their service region as a supporter of the Novelis Neighbor Corporate Social Responsibility program. Tammy currently holds 3 Board of Director positions.  She serves on the EKU College of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Deans Development Cabinet. She also is a chapter leadership member of the Women in Manufacturing Kentucky chapter where she is the social media director for the Kentucky chapter. In 2025 she is proud to add Student Relations Director for Bluegrass SHRM to her list of qualifications.  Through these roles and her volunteer work she often advocates for females in Education, STEM and Manufacturing especially in rural areas.  

 

In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, FIRST Robotics, American Heart Association, Salvation Army, and various other non-profit organizations as well as focusing on promoting physical wellness in her community.  Tammy resides in Lexington with her family.
