Transfer and Refund Policy

Can't make it? Would you like to transfer an upcoming registration from one event to another or can someone else from your office attend in your place? Substitutions are allowed; however, the non-member rate may apply. Requests for transfers must be made at least seven days in advance, as BGSHRM pays the venue based on the numbers of registered attendees. Please submit your request via email to communications@bgshrm.org. No refunds or transfers of fees will be made after the date of the event.

Generally, all payments for membership dues and registration to BGSHRM events are non-refundable. However, if an event must be rescheduled (i.e. severe weather in which travel is prohibited or impractical) OR you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances (i.e. family emergency), we will apply your payment to a future event which can be requested by emailing communications@bgshrm.org. This request must be sent prior to or within 7 days of the event. Because BGSHRM pays the venue based on the numbers of registered attendees, we cannot refund you for your registration if we do not receive a cancellation request in advance.
