    What is the SHRM Foundation?

The SHRM Foundation is the charity affiliate of SHRM, dedicated to empowering HR professionals to build inclusive organizations where employees thrive and organizations achieve success. The mission of the SHRM Foundation is to champion workforce and workplace transformation by providing research-based HR solutions for challenging inclusion issues facing current and potential employees, scholarships to educate and develop HR professionals to make change happen, and opportunities for HR professionals to make a difference in their local communities.

The SHRM Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships each year to HR professionals and students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees, certification, and professional development. The SHRM Foundation also develops research-based workplace inclusion solutions for HR professionals, with recent initiatives focused on the aging workforce and the hiring and retention of military veterans.

    Why should I donate?

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, the work of the SHRM Foundation is made possible by generous donations from HR professionals and the support of SHRM.

With more than 500 SHRM Chapters, the Top 25 fundraising Chapters represent the top five percent of all SHRM chapters. Those in the top 25 have the highest yearly contributions, including gifts from the chapter plus recognition credits donated by individuals or companies on behalf of the chapter. Last year, the Bluegrass SHRM Chapter was ranked #3 out of ALL CHAPTERS!!! So now we need your help to break the top 10 and remain one of the Top 25 Fundraising Chapters!!

Get Involved and Make a Donation!

If you're interested in making a contribution, you still have time before the end of the year! Make a donation online today at shrmfoundation.org/donate! Giving directly to the SHRM Foundation ensures that your donation is TAX-DEDUCTIBLE!

All donors who give online or give an offline gift of $25 or more will receive an acknowledgement letter which is your receipt for tax purposes. All donors are encouraged to give recognition credits to their chapter and council in honor of their gift. Recognition credits should to be given during the point of donation, and can be added or adjusted by donor request to SHRMFoundation@shrm.org.
