Amanda Sutton, SHRM-CP
Amanda relocated from South Bend, Indiana to Lexington in June 2014. Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Purdue University  in Communications/Human Relations. Prior to relocating to Kentucky, she was employed by the Sterling Group (a property management company) for 4 years and served in several roles including Recruiting Coordinator and Human Resources Coordinator. She is currently employed at the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government as a Human Resources Generalist. Amanda is a National SHRM member, served as the College Relations Director for the Michiana SHRM Chapter in Indiana, and previously served as the Co-Communications Director for Bluegrass SHRM from 2015-2017 and in 2018.
Leslie C. Moore is a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky who moved to Lexington in 2003. A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Masters degree in Psychology, Leslie has been in the HR recruiting field since 2011. While working as an adjunct psychology professor for the Sullivan University system, Leslie began headhunting for a national recruiting company. Leslie is currently employed by Precision Staffing, Inc. – a locally owned, independent staffing and recruiting agency serving the Bluegrass Region for 37 years. As business development manager, Leslie applies her recruiting background and expertise in psychology and human resources to provide consultation, education, and recruiting services to business in the Central Kentucky region.Leslie enjoys running, cooking, and enjoying life with her husband, Adam and beagle, Trusty while residing in downtown Lexington. A member of the Junior League of Lexington and involved in fundraising and volunteer efforts with several non-profit groups, Leslie strives to bring together a variety of local organizations to collaboratively build a strong, enriched, and robust Lexington community.
Leslie Jarvis, SHRM-CP, SPHR
Leslie Jarvis currently serves as the Corporate Human Resources Director for the Forcht Group of Kentucky where she oversees the HR and Payroll departments. The Forcht Group is a group of companies employing more than 2,100 employees in many companies specializing in banking and financial services, insurance, nursing homes and health care, broadcasting and print media, retail, data and Web design services, real estate and construction.
Leslie holds a BS in Human Relations and Secondary Education and a Masters Degree in Business Administration and has over 23 years of Human Resources experience in both the public and private sectors, the last 10 plus years spent at the senior leadership or executive level. She started her HR career as an HR Analyst in the Training & Development sector and progressed throughout her career to her current title of Director.
In addition, Leslie is an adjunct instructor with Bluegrass Community and Technical College, teaching the SHRM Learning Course for the last 3 years. She was also recently appointed to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department’s Merit Council.
On a personal note, Leslie has considered Lexington home for 30 years. She has a son who attends college in Chicago.
Kriste Harness Blumetti, PHR, SHRM-CP
Kriste Harness Blumetti, PHR, SHRM-CP, is currently the Employee Relations Coordinator for Baptist Health Lexington and Baptist Health Medical Group. She has served in various positions within the Human Resources department over the last 23 years of her career with Baptist Health. Kriste has also served as Faculty for BCTCS teaching both the HRCI and SHRM certification prep courses.
Before her employment with Baptist Health, Kriste held Operational Management positions with Crothall Healthcare and Marriott International. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Institutional Administration from Western Kentucky University and her graduate degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Kriste is native of central Kentucky and is very active with various charities in the community. She has a passion for volunteering and has held several past and current leadership positions with the Junior League of Lexington, Miss Kentucky Scholarship Organization and Kentucky Society of Healthcare Human Resources. Kriste has a husband, Mike, whom she has been married to for 14 years and they currently reside in Nicholasville.
Ashley Case, SPHR
Ashley has been working professionally in all Human Resources functional areas for 19 years and has also spent time in operational management roles. She earned a Baccalaureate in 2001 from the University of Kentucky in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Health Services Management. She graduated with plans of becoming a Nursing Home Administrator, but after serving her internship at a long-term care facility in Lexington, she was offered a position at that same facility as Director of Human Resources and decided instead that Human Resources would be a wonderful career option.
Ashley has since worked in for-profit, not-for-profit, privately owned, and corporate environments across various industries to include government, healthcare, education, social services, and the financial sector. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Human Resources with Forcht Group of Kentucky. She is also a certified Human Resources professional (SHRM-CP) and a National SHRM member.
Ashley is married to her husband Allen, and together they have two children. Ashley was raised and attended school in Lexington, Kentucky, but she currently resides in Georgetown, Kentucky with her family. She is a devoted dance mom, soccer mom, and lover of all things artistic. In her free time, she enjoys writing, drawing, singing, playing piano, or relaxing to her favorite tunes. While Ashley is a woman of many goals, one that is a daily priority is making someone laugh.
Heather Humphreys, SHRM-SCP, CCP
Heather is a native to Middleport, OH but relocated to Lexington in June 2014 due to her husband transferring to TMMK. Heather received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and completed her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University.
She has experience in both private sector and higher education, having gained her experience at Ohio University as a Senior Compensation Analyst; and, Hanna Resource Group as an HR Consultant.
She now serves as the Director of Employment, Compensation and Operations at KCTCS.
Kelly Bolton, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Kelly Bolton serves as Director of Human Resources for the United States Equestrian Federation. As a former Department of Defense employee, Kelly is a workforce strategist and has experience in both the public and private sectors.
Kelly completed degrees in Business and Human Resources Management, achieved professional certifications as Senior Professional of Human Resources - SPHR, Society of HR Management Senior Certified Professional - SHRM-SCP, and is a certified lean six sigma green belt.
Prior to working in Lexington, Kelly worked as a Human Resources Manager in the Elizabethtown area and served as President-Elect for the Southern Kentucky SHRM chapter, Diversity & Legislative Director for the Elizabethtown SHRM chapter, and President of the Elizabethtown Industrial Foundation Training Consortium.
Kelly is a military spouse and maintains a proud alliance with the United States military, residing on Fort Knox with her husband and daughters. Kelly considers Batman to be her hero, and loves a cold Big Red soda (in a can)!
Sam Stapleton, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Sam is currently the MBA Program Director and faculty member with the College of Business and Technology at Morehead State University. Sam completed his SPHR certification in 2008 and has been an active member of national SHRM since that time.
Sam has earned a Bachelor of Applied Engineering, Master of Business Administration and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Sam is also the current campus advisor for Phi Beta Lambda and onsite coordinator for the Region 5 chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
Prior to joining Morehead State University in 2013. Sam worked for more than 20 years in various managerial positions with companies across Kentucky. The first 10 years of Sam’s professional career was spent in operations management. In 2003, Sam transitioned into human resource management during his tenure with Cooper Standard Automotive and later at Merillat Inc.
Sam is a native Kentuckian, who currently lives on a small farm in Bath County with his wife Tricia.
Elodie earned her MSW from the University of Kentucky, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Berea College. She is currently the Workforce Development Manager for the city of Lexington, a position that was created in October of 2016 in the Mayor’s Office. Elodie identifies and promotes strategic partnerships between industry, education, and workforce training providers. One of her primary roles is to also administer the city’s workforce training grants. These grants are awarded to various local non-profit agencies that provide training and job placement for members in the community who are entering or re-entering the workforce.
Previously, Elodie was the Regional Manager of Program Services for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, where she managed all Goodwill workforce development programs in Lexington and the surrounding service areas.
Elodie is a current member of BGSHRM, a current Board member of Commerce Lexington’s Business and Education Network, and a current board member of the Mayor’s International Affairs Advisory Commission. She was previously a board member of the Central Kentucky Housing and Homeless Initiative, and has also served on several conference committees for the Kentucky Rehabilitation Association.
Michael Hooper, SHRM-SCP
Michael is a native of Nashville, Tennessee and moved to Lexington in 2003. He graduated Cum Laude from Sullivan University with a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Leadership and completed his Masters of Business Administration at Midway University in 2012.
During the first 7 years of his career, he held various operations leadership positions and decided to make the transition into Human Resources in 2007. He is currently the Human Resources Director at Catalent Pharma Solutions, located in Winchester, KY and has previous held various human resources and training and development leadership positions with Amazon.com, Galls / Aramark Uniform Services, and The Ridge Behavioral Health System.
Michael is a member of the Site Based Decision Making Committee at his children’s school, is the Treasurer for his daughter’s Girl Scout Troop, and is the Chair for the Bluegrass Business State Skills Grant Consortium. Michael has previously served as the Internal Communications Director on the 2019 BGSHRM Board of Directors.
LaRellen Jones, PHR, SHRM-CP
LaRellen is the Human Resources Manager at Family Practice Associates of Lexington, PSC where she has gained 10 years of Human Resources experience in recruiting, onboarding, benefits, payroll, OSHA, credentialing and accounts payable.
She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition in 2005 from the University of Kentucky and maintains her certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM-Certified Professional. She is also an active member of National SHRM.
LaRellen has been a member of Bluegrass SHRM since 2014 and previously served as the Co-Membership Director from 2017 thru 2018.
LaRellen is a Lexington native and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. where she enjoys serving the community. She also volunteers as an Advisor for the Mu Epsilon Chapter of her Sorority at the University of Kentucky. For fun, she enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends and family and cheering on the UK Wildcats and the Cincinnati Bengals!
Beverly Clemons has more than 20 years experience in Human Resources Consulting specializing in outplacement and career transition services, professional search and recruitment, employee climate and attitude surveys, behavioral assessments, hourly and salary compensation design and analysis, wage and benefits administration, and general human resource consulting. She has worked with many companies and clients in various industries including manufacturing, non-profit agencies, financial institutions, health-care providers, internet-related companies, and many others.
In addition, Beverly is involved with a number of charitable causes and served on the Entrepreneurial Committee for the Governor’s Task Force on the Economic Development of Women in the state of Kentucky, and recently served on the Business Advisory Board for Midway University.
Donna Carter, PHR, SHRM-CP
Donna has over 16 years of HR experience within various industries. Over her career she has been responsible for leading HR departments in the manufacturing, non-profit, government and education sectors. Donna's passions are Diversity and Inclusion, leadership development and mentoring other HR professionals.
Over the course of her career, Donna led the development and execution of organizational Affirmative Action strategies and continues to provide oversight for Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in her current role of Human Resources Manager at Catalent Pharma Solutions, located in Winchester, KY. Donna earned her PHR and SHRM-CP certification and completed her Master of Education in Adult and Continuing Education from Rutgers University, and BS in Human Resources Management from DeVry University.
Donna is also active with her local church serving in the Food Pantry, Read 2 Succeed program as a mentor, and publishing the monthly FBC Life Newsletter. She is a native of Southern New Jersey and currently leads a Celebrate Recovery, 12-step program with her husband of 19 years in Winchester, KY, where they reside with their daughter.
Alisha Hudson-Lyle is a native of Winchester, Kentucky. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from National College in 2010. She began her HR career at Eastern State Hospital in 2007, and is currently employed at the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government in the Division of Human Resources. Alisha has over 10 years of HR experience that includes payroll, accounts payable, recruiting and medical staff credentialing.
Alisha currently lives in Nicholasville with her son and her Westie named Bentley. She also has a daughter, who is away at college. Alisha enjoys shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Tiffany Yarbrough, PHR, SHRM-CP
Tiffany is a native of Lexington, graduate of the University of Kentucky and currently employed by Avis/Budget Rent A Car. She has almost 20 years of HR experience, obtaining her PHR Certification in 2002 and SHRM-CP Certification in 2016. Before settling into Human Resources, Tiffany worked in Accounting, Sales/Marketing, and Operations Management.
She is currently serving on the Avis Advertising and Policy Committee and Convention Site Selection Committee. She is a past board member of the Bluegrass Tourism and Marketing Association and Lexington Hotel Motel Association. She also has completed the Citizen’s Police Academy (created the CPA’s Officer of the Month program,) Citizen’s Fire Academy and Citizen’s Government Academy.
Jennifer Taylor, PHR
Jennifer (Criggall) Taylor has over 17 years of Human Resource experience in the professional services, construction, and manufacturing industries. Her experience includes employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, recruiting, and performance management.
She is currently the Director of Human Resources at AMR Management Services, a 2017 Best Place to Work in Kentucky. Jennifer has been an active member of Bluegrass SHRM as both a member and past volunteer leader (Secretary, Foundation Chair, and Best Places to Work / State Conference Chair).
She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and received her PHR Certification in December 2000.

David Baumgartner, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, SSGB, CNA
David began his HR career in 1995. David's primary focus is working coaching organizations and leaders that are naturally resourceful, creative and whole achieve desired results through aligning efforts to organizational or personal vision.
In his current role as Vice President of Spirituality and Sacred Six at Signature Healthcare, he works with peers to implement processes that hardwire purpose-driven culture across 115 locations. In 2004, he began an HR consulting practice with his wife/partner of 35 years, where he works with a small number of organizations and individuals.
He holds the following certificates: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Six Sigma Green Belt and a Net Promoter Certified Associate (NPS). He is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), completed Co-Active Coach Training (CTI) and he attended Midway University.
David has been married to his wife Karen for 36 years, has four (4) children, and four (4) grandchildren.
